• Start by testing primary attribute. Guess a Strength hero first. If it matches, you have narrowed the pool to about a third of all heroes.
• Attack type (melee vs ranged) is a simple binary that eliminates half the roster immediately. Combine it with primary attribute to narrow down to a small group quickly.
• Role tags (carry, support, nuker, disabler) are your best friend for the final guesses. Once you know the attribute and attack type, the role usually identifies the hero.
• Pay attention to complexity rating. Simple heroes like Wraith King or Lich are rated 1 star, while complex heroes like Invoker or Meepo are rated 3 stars. This distinction eliminates many candidates.
