Puzzle Analysis
Smashdle's Meta Knight puzzle was a tough one. His franchise, Kirby, provides the quickest identifier. His mask is a strong clue. A misleading trait was his supposed "evil" nature. Meta Knight is more of an anti-hero. An 8/10 difficulty feels about right. The mask and the Kirby connection are well-known. How to Play Smashdle
Smashdle asks you to guess a Super Smash Bros Ultimate character each day. The classic mode compares your guess to the answer across attributes like franchise, weight class, first appearance, and number of jumps.
Green means an exact match on that attribute. Other indicators show whether the answer is higher, lower, or in a different category than your guess.
The game has five modes. Classic compares attributes. Emoji gives you a sequence of emoji that hint at the character. Kirby Copy shows what ability Kirby gets from the mystery character. Silhouette shows an outline. Final Smash describes or shows the character's Final Smash attack.
Each mode features a different character daily. You can play all five modes each day for a complete challenge. Puzzles reset at midnight UTC.

Tips & Strategy
- In Classic mode, start with a mid-weight character from a major franchise like Mario or Link. These characters have well-known attributes that provide a strong reference point.
- For Emoji mode, think about the character's signature traits, attacks, or personality. Three emoji might represent their appearance, their game, and their fighting style.
- Kirby Copy mode is very specific. Each Smash character gives Kirby a unique copy ability. If you know Kirby's copy abilities well, this mode becomes straightforward.
- Learn the weight classes. Heavyweights like Bowser, DK, and King K. Rool are in one tier, lightweights like Pichu and Jigglypuff in another. Narrowing weight class eliminates many characters quickly.
