Puzzle Analysis

The Duotrigordle on March 13th presented a formidable challenge. Eight out of ten difficulty feels accurate. The word CLASS was a relatively straightforward start, offering common letters. HTTPS, however, proved particularly vexing. Its unusual letter combination stumped many solvers. WIDTH and SCALE also demanded careful consideration. A useful strategy involved prioritizing words with a high frequency of common vowels and consonants early on. This helps eliminate possibilities faster. The sheer number of words, coupled with the tricky sequences, made this a tough one. It required persistence and a bit of luck.

How to Play Duotrigordle

Duotrigordle takes the multi-word concept to the extreme: you must solve 32 words at the same time. Each guess is applied to all 32 boards, and each board gives independent color feedback.

You have 37 attempts to solve all 32 words. The boards are displayed in a scrollable grid, and solved boards are marked with a check. Your goal is to clear every board before running out of guesses.

Color feedback follows standard rules. Green for correct position, yellow for wrong position, and gray for letters not in that specific word.

The daily puzzle resets at midnight UTC. There is also a free play mode for practice.

Tips & Strategy

  • Dedicate your first 5-6 guesses entirely to information gathering. Use words with completely distinct letters to test as many of the 26 letters as possible across all 32 boards.
  • After the opening phase, scan all boards for any that are close to solved. Picking off easy wins early gives you breathing room for tougher words later.
  • With 37 guesses for 32 words, your margin is only 5 extra guesses. Avoid wild guessing on any single board. If you are unsure, move to a board with more confirmed letters.
  • Group boards mentally by what you know. Boards with similar green patterns might share common letter positions, helping you solve them in batches.
